Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI's):

If you have any worries about STI's, the staff at The Garden Clinic are
here to help and advise you of your options. If you wish, and it
is your decision, we can test you for infections. This test may involve
an examination which takes about two or three minutes.
For women the examination is similar to having a smear taken.
For men cotton tipped swabs take the specimens,
(the "umbrella" went out of use sixty years ago).
We examine the specimens straight away and can offer treatment
for any infections we find. The whole process takes about 45 minutes.
We also send specimens away for a double check and you can ring up for
the results of those two weeks later.
The Garden Clinic has a specialised team of doctors, clinical
nurse specialists and health advisers who are all skilled in the
management of sexually transmitted infections (STI's).
