Catalogues
Many library catalogues are available on the Internet. Searching other library catalogues can be a useful way of finding out what books have been published on a particular subject outside the holdings of your local library. They can also be used to check bibliographical references.
The link above now takes you to the new library catalogue, which is a shared
system with other NHS libraries across the south and west. By default it will
search the books held by us but display items at all locations, you can also
choose to search all libraries. If we do not have a book that you require please
email us and we will borrow it from the other library on your behalf.
You
can renew your books online by using your reader number from your new SWIMS
card, this will start with a U. No password or PIN required! If you do not have
a new library card with a U number please go to the membership page and complete
a registration/update form.
Please contact us if you are visiting to borrow a specific book; require a book
that says BAU or
cannot see all the books that you have when using the self-renewal feature.
