Below is a list of bibliographic databases that you can search to locate journal articles on a particular subject. Some may also provide full text access to journal articles -  the table on this page indicates full text availability. A number of the databases are available through the National Library for Health and require an Athens password, which will grant access whether you are at work or at home.

Cochrane Library

HAPI (Health and Psychosocial Instruments)

Information on measurement instruments especially in the area of psychosocial sciences and organisational behaviour.

Access is restricted to staff working with or for BHT and the 6 Berkshire PCT's.

Map of Medicine The Map of Medicine is an online clinical knowledge resource implemented in primary and secondary settings throughout the UK. More than 1500 pages, organised into 370 pathways, are presented in an easy-to-use visual format, offering evidence-based up-to-date information for Accident & Emergency, Medicine, Mental Health, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Oncology & Palliative Care, Paediatrics, and Surgery.
