Membership

The Healthcare Library is provided by Health Informatics Shared Services (Berkshire) and full library membership is available to those working for and with the following trusts:

Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust and associated staff
NHS Berkshire West (formerly) Berkshire West PCT

If you would like to join the library or let us know of a change of address / job, please complete and submit the online Registration/update form.

Please read the Library's Rules and Regulations before submitting the form.

Students on placement should also read the charter which describes the services available to them whilst on placement.

Full library membership entitles you to :

Borrow up to eight books at one time, for one month at a time. Books can be renewed twice if they have not been reserved by another reader; they may be renewed twice more at the discretion of library staff.
Obtain an Athens password - this gives access to Healthcare databases and Electronic journals
Request Interlibrary loans
Request Literature searches
Join our Current awareness service

The Library is open to all those working for or with NHS Trusts in the Thames Valley - however the services available and the charges made may vary according to which trust you work for - please contact the library for more information.
